1) Donation Policy

Donations are voluntary contributions made to support Prayas initiatives and operations. Donations may be one-time or recurring (if the payment provider supports recurring mandates).

We do not store your full card/bank details. Payments are processed via third-party gateways, subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Donor details used for receipts and acknowledgements may include name, email, phone, address and (where applicable) PAN for tax receipt compliance.

2) Refund & Cancellation Policy

Donations are typically non-refundable because funds are used to support ongoing work. However, we may review refund requests on a case-by-case basis in limited situations such as:

  • Duplicate transactions charged in error
  • Technical payment failure where an incorrect amount was charged
  • Unauthorized transaction proven with required evidence

If recurring donations are enabled, you can cancel your mandate through your bank/payment provider. Cancellation processing time depends on the provider (timeline: UNKNOWN).

3) Tax Receipt Policy (80G)

If tax-benefit options are offered during donation, we may request additional information such as PAN to generate a compliant donation receipt.

Important: Eligibility for tax deduction depends on applicable law and your tax status. We cannot guarantee tax benefit for every donation.

If receipt delivery is provided via email or dashboard, delivery timeline is UNKNOWNunless explicitly defined.

4) CSR & Partnerships Policy

Prayas may accept CSR and partnership enquiries subject to internal review and compliance requirements.

CSR registration: CSR00040010 (as per CSR-1 approval document).

Any MoU / scope / reporting format / utilization reporting is determined per partnership and may require additional documentation.

5) Volunteer / Internship Policy

Volunteers and interns may participate in programs based on availability, suitability, and compliance checks (process details: UNKNOWN).

Participants are expected to follow code of conduct, respect beneficiaries, maintain confidentiality, and avoid misuse of media or information.

Prayas may decline or discontinue volunteer participation for violations of conduct or safety concerns.

6) Child Protection & Safeguarding Policy

Prayas is committed to a safe environment for children and vulnerable persons. We do not tolerate abuse, exploitation, harassment, or harmful behavior.

  • No inappropriate contact, language, or media capture involving children
  • No sharing identifiable child information without proper consent
  • Report concerns immediately to Prayas (contact: UNKNOWN)

If your work involves direct contact with children, additional safeguards or verification may be required (details: UNKNOWN).

7) Media, Photos, and Content Use Policy

Website content is owned by or licensed to Prayas unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially use content without permission.

If you submit stories, photos, or content to Prayas, you grant Prayas a non-exclusive right to use it for awareness and reporting purposes, unless agreed otherwise.

When beneficiaries appear in media, consent requirements and privacy protections apply (implementation: UNKNOWN).

8) Cookies / Analytics Policy

We may use cookies for basic website functionality. If analytics are enabled, they may collect aggregate usage information (not intended to directly identify you).
